Enchanted Florist and Confections

Learn about all different types of chocolates and the history behind it at Enchanted Florist and Confections in Everett, Washington.

The Enchanted Florist is one of my favorite shops in downtown Everett, and not just because I've enjoyed the occasional cup of drinking chocolate gratis as I picked up some treats. The Enchanted Florist really embodies the boutique-y, small-business vibe I love about our little strip of downtown. Dax World took a quick trip over there to talk to Brian about the world of gourmet chocolate with a young heathen who apparently prefers milk chocolate to dark.  Weird, right? You have to agree she at least takes the business of tasting chocolate seriously; I don't know how you could manage not to smile when free chocolate is melting on your tongue. Just watching the video right now made my mouth water, but all I have within reach is a roll of Neccos and some muffin crumbs. I might have to make a pilgrimage over to the Enchanted Florist in a minute to sate my sweet tooth.

What the video didn't delve into, is the wonderful selection of loose teas available over there.  Since their move to the larger space, they've filled their walls with row after row of familiar and exotic teas from al over the world. I suppose that global appeal is something tea and chocolate have in common. Even the pickiest locavore would have to admit that a warm cup of organic white tea with some Columbian chocolate wafers is a treat well worth the carbon footprint.

If you've forgotten (or, gasp, just remembered) that anniversary/birthday/hallmark holiday, the Enchanted Florist is the perfect, one-stop shop for delicious forgiveness.  Their flower arrangements are unique and beautiful, their sweets are a cut above, and their presentation is always distinctive.
