It is often asked as to how people in the Pacific Northwest survive the winters here since they are often dreary, rainy, chilliy, and at times cold and snowy. We took to the streets and found from talking with several people, there are plenty of ways to survive the winters, and do it quite well. The answers we got were diverse as anybody else. One gentleman said that he simply puts on his (presumably GoreTex) rain coat and keeps at it. Another woman stated how she loves to go snowboarding and play in the snow when she can. Otherwise, she is at home perched in front of the fireplace. One more adventurous guy said how he enjoys snow camping. Travel to warmer areas is also a good option. Florida, Mexico, Hawaii, and Las Vegas were all mentioned as winter-time vacation destinations. To find out more, be sure to watch the video.
