The City of Everett this summer unveiled Street Tunes Everett, a European-inspired program that placed several pianos around the city. The idea was to let people enjoy random acts of music from those who sat down to play the piano. Northwest Live took to the streets to find out more about this program, and capture the painted artwork each piano had. Public opinion was very favorable, as shop owners reported some very talented piano players jamming away on the piano. Occasionally, they were even joined by other musicians to create a more elaborate jam that was truly music to the ears.
Northwest Live hopes you will enjoy our coverage of Street Tunes, and we encourage you to visit the City of Everett’s website to find out more about Street Tunes.
